One cloudy Saturday Darrius & I went exploring for some bluebonnets in a field near our home. A few weeks before we had explored a small part that had some tall grass and got some gorgeous pictures, one of which I chose to get on a canvas! On the long walk we found a lot of wild flowers but no bluebonnets. I was a little disappointed until I saw a large patch of pretty white. Upon closer inspection we found small plum trees that were covered in blossoms. I knew I wanted a picture of Darrius in the middle of it all.
With the cloud coverage that day I had a beautiful diffused light. I like to shoot with a shallow depth of field and like to use a 50mm 1.8. This photo was shot at 1/2500 at 1.8. I like to shoot a little overexposed. With all the white I wanted a light picture. The clean edits were done first then I used an action from Paint the Moon and finished the image with a blue texture.
