Hello Friends and Fans!

The lovely Emmarie, with Emmarie Jackson Photography, asked if I could shoot an anniversary session for her in July. My anniversary is in July too but my hubby will put off pictures for a while. Which is good for me in a way. July and August can be such hot months in Texas and I end up melting in the heat. So, hopefully I can get a session in when it's not too hot or cold and we can both be happy (minus him thinking the camera will steal his soul). I'm sure you have someone in your family (or maybe it's you) that just hates being in front of the camera. As photographers we rarely find ourselves in fron of a camera. Yet, since I've been working with Emmarie, I've managed to steal several pictures of her. She's modeled for me and I've caught her in action on a photo shoot.

[On a side story, one of my in-laws came with me to this shoot to help out since he neeeded to be in Irving. He was auditioning for The Voice! Thank you Chuck for being a good sport and joining me for this session! Anyway...]

Emmarie dolled up in a spicy red dress and killer shoes to match. She wanted romance so we created a little in Las Colinas and I did my best to keep it PG13.

This next picture may be my absolute favorite from this session. The color, texture and pose just add to the mood. What is especially awesome for me is that they had bystanders just gawking at them while I stuck them in this pose and happily snapped away.

Thank you for to Emmarie and her husband for putting up with me as I shot your session. Hopefully on our next visits to the Mandalay Canals we can find some fun new spots!
