Commonly Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book?

Texas brides vary greatly with their booking times and can book anywhere from 1 year to 1 month before their wedding. You should book as soon as you've decide on an exact wedding date. Ideally, brides will book at least 3 months ahead of their wedding allowing time for an engagement & blacktie session to take place.

What's your turnaround time for getting our USB back to make prints, etc.?

Your USB will be ready at least 4-6 weeks after your session, often times sooner. In most instances, I can put a rush ($500 fee) on your images and have it ready in 2 weeks online.

How may photos will we get from each session?

I don't limit the images that I take, but typically my sessions yield as follows:
engagement *15-30 images
blacktie *15-30 images
full wedding day of shooting *200-500 images
*expect more with double coverage

How many of those images can I print?

All of them! Though I will select some of my favorites to further enhance in Photoshop, all of your images will look great printed because I do the bulk of my work in my camera.

What happens if there's bad weather?

If you'd prefer not to shoot in the current weather conditions on your scheduled pre-wedding session dates, I'm happy to reschedule for you. However, a light rain can add a lot of interest to your pictures. If there's bad weather on your wedding day, embrace it. I can shoot in pretty much any weather condition you and/or your dress can withstand.

Do you charge for travel?

Travel to your wedding day Texas location is complimentary up to 45 miles from 76126. There's a $1.50/mile charge for locations greater than 45 miles from 76126. Pre-wedding sessions follow the same guidelines.

I'm not getting married in Texas. Do you travel outside of Texas for weddings?

My photography budget is $1500. I really want you to shoot my wedding. What should I do?

I recommend that you contact me with the specific details of your wedding. If you're eloping or having a small intimate wedding you may only need to have a Blacktie/Engagement Session and Ceremony Coverage. Also think about putting some of the money you'll get as gifts towards the purchase of your digital files. You don't have to book those up front so you can always purchase them after the wedding once you've saved up.
